Often times our computer desks never seem to have enough room on them. Between the keyboard and the mouse and letters and pens there just is never any extra space on a desk. That is why you might be thinking of taking your monitor and putting it on the wall with some mounts so that you can make a little more room on your desk.

If this is something you are contemplating then you should know that is fairly easy to do and it takes as little as an hour in most cases to do. The hardware you need to do this is also fairly inexpensive.
- Before you get started determine where you want to place it. You need to make sure that it is close enough so that the VGA cable can connect the two. Also, you need to make sure that the power cord is long enough to get power from the outlet from its location. If it isn’t you will need to purchase an extension cord.
- You next want to be sure that the hardware’s holes fit up with the holes located on the back of the screen.
- Next you will want to be sure that you are installing it securely into a stud, so use your stud finder to verify that.
- After you locate the studs, you will want to mark where you want to drill your first hole. Be sure that the hardware is level and mark the other three holes as well.
- Then you take your drill and create holes with it on the marks you made.
- Screw the hardware by using the screws that came with it.
- Then carefully screw your screen onto it.
Now you are ready to plug all the wires in to the computer and the power supply and you are ready to go.
